I was born in Yorkshire, England, in the mid 1980's and from an early age took an interest in how things worked and taking them appart to see if what my father told me was true. Through school I developed both my design and production skills, becoming well liked by my design technology teachers which lead me to take graphics with a view of one day studying Transport and Product design at Coventry University. I was, one day, I thought, going to be the man who designs the successor of the Jaguar E-type.

I did eventually make it to Coventry, and against tutors advice on my foundation course, took Transport Design instead of Graphic Design. Part way through the course I realised which I enjoyed more and started again, this time on Coventry's BA Graphic Design course. The course was a bit of a jump from my time at Wakefield College's BTEC course where we spent an hour a week learning how to use graphics packages such as Photoshop and Quark, but the traditional methods I'd learnt there were put to good use alongside the new digital and typographical skills I was learning.

During my extended time at Coventry I have met many people who have taught me a lot about myself, including my beautiful wife, these people have helped me become a better person and a better designer.

After graduating from Coventry I've been working freelance alongside working part time in a hobby shop (model trains, radio controlled cars etc) before moving to Maidenhead in August 2011.

That interest in cars, especially classic cars, has stayed with me along with my love of biking, longboarding, kayaking, camping and building models, both working and non-working. Along the way I've aquired a love of photography, snow boarding, had a go at surfing and become a Cub Scout leader.
